On multiplayer thay can have 150 range at lvl 9. They kills more slow then revolver cav but are more elastic unit with a better range (revolver have 75 range, them 125). They increase the moral of your units near to them. They can shote with a good range and accuracy and have a good ammount of bullets. With manual shoting they can hit all over the map with good accuracy, can shote to towers, dors and walls in siege battles (can do form 200 to 400 kills in a game) They can make enemy campers come to you and if enemy still camp can do massive dmg on them. (they usually can do iven 400 kills in a battle) But please, do not rush in front against line infantery. With his moral and attak lvl they can do massive dmg in mele expecially against line infantery. The only mele infantery units that have a real meaning. If they dismount they are a good spear infantery. Usually they do not do so much kills in battle, but once enemy run from battelfild in single player they can kill all enemy running away (2 - max 4 in a army).ĭo not run to figth in forest with them. They are a very good mounted anti cavallery unit, they are fast and can be used to rush enemy line infantery to. They increase moral of near units (on multy at lvl 5 or 7 are very strong they can do 300-400 kills) They are a good quality elite line unit that is better then red bears but more expensive. Imperial guards line / Shogunate guard line You can use 1 or 2 in a army (On multy and single they can do iven 400 kills) If used well can do massive dmg and turn around enemy lines, on hold with out mele selected they can resist to a frontal rush from a yari cav. So much bullets and a good accuracy and range (on lvl 9 in multi you can have 175 range instead of 150), they can do a tousand of kills before finish bullets. At lvl 9 can have 150 range instead 125 for not much koku. (in multy if used well can do iven 200 kills). I'll give my opinion in a multiplayer view to.Īre a good basic line infantery that can hold better enemy line. Not because of the lack of yari wall,but this unit is just kinda bad,but in some situations they're pretty decent.Īctually the only Traditional unit that can stand toe to toe in Auto Resolve,Check. The most early Elite Infantry,not only that they're strong,they're also Immune to Winter Attrition(This could make Choshu players able to attack in any season)Ībsolutely worst unit in my command,they needed the expensive building,and very expensive offeral,and in battle they're very decent,even with max accuracy upgrade. The reason is the same as bow ki,but Bow Kachi needed the Accuracy upgrades to make them quite powerful. This is the only reason to go Hyper Traditionalist,which is strange since the Bow Ki isn't actually a Traditional units(They Didn't get the Exp and Morale Bonus from Level 1 Modernisation),but in the Campaign map,they're quite fast moving,and in battle they're pretty good as a support units for the Line Infantries,Also Extra tip: They're broken in Auto Resolve
